Gadima's Cave is located at the village of Gadima near Lipjan, Kosovo. The cave is 1500 meters long, however tourist sightseeing are only available at the first 1300 meters of the cave; the rest of the cave is not walk-able.
The cave consists of three floors, from whom only the middle floor is available to tourist visits.
As you can imagine a marble cave has a cool temperature (confronting it with the temperature outside the cave) during hot seasons and a warm one during winter: in fact, this cave has a constant temperature during summer (13 degrees celsius) and during winter it varies from 11 to 13 degrees celsius.
Inside the cave there are different other sightseeing beauties such as the lake whose depth varies from 15 to 25 meters. In addition, crystals that are situated in this marble cave are the rarest ones in Europe for the fact that in the past 30,000 years their leakage shows us that the cave is 80,000 years old. In the cave, the crystals have formed different shapes or symbols; the most notable are the following: the fish, Scanderbeg's beard, the snake, Rome and Juliet (stalagmite and stalactite).
